Amy Smart has been a model, actress and former American. Her modelling career began in Italy, where she was raised and was born in California. Her acting debut came in 1996, when she appeared in The TV production Her Costly Affair. From there to starring as a supporting character in the movie Starship Troopers she struggled very hard. It was a hard time for her to make the transition from modeling to acting since the models werent usually believed to be actors and tended to be assigned smaller roles that were insignificant. Amy did her best to get noticed and was eventually offered larger parts beginning at The 70s, the movie Varsity Blues. After a while Amy stepped into more leading roles. The film she starred in was the love story Just Friends alongside Ryan Reynolds. Amy achieved the fame she had been searching for for more than 10 years, when her movie just Friends debuted. She continued with important films, including the Crank series with Jason Statham and the series Shameless where she played a well loved recurring character.
