Amy Smart is a former American model and actor. Amy Smart was born and was raised in California, United States of America. Amy Smart began her modeling career in Italy. She began her acting career at the age of 16 in the TV movie Her Costly Affair. Then, in a small role in the movie Starship Troopers she struggled very hard. It was a hard time when she had to change from modeling to acting since the models werent usually considered to be good actors and were mostly granted smaller, insignificant roles. Amy did not give up. She worked her way up to greater roles, starting in The 70s series and Varsity Blues film. Amy then moved into leading parts in 2005's romantic comedy Just Friends starring Ryan Reynolds. Amy achieved the fame she had been searching for for more than 10 years after her film, Just Friends was released. Amy continued to make major films, such as Crank with Jason Statham or Shameless in which she became a cherished as a recurring character.
