Jillian Nellie Hennely was born 25 December 1968. She is a talented Canadian actress and performer who has made an important contribution to American TV. She's been recognized for her exceptional performance in the American TV show Law & Order in which she was awe-inspiring to the viewers for three seasons, playing the prosecution officer Claire Kincaid, and Crossing Jordan over a period of six years, where she played protagonist Jordan Cavanaugh. Hennessy has also showcased her acting prowess in films such as RoboCop 3 Most Wanted and the indie films Chutney Popcorn and The Acting Class In addition, she played co-directing and writing muscles. Hennessy got her start in acting by co-starring with her sister playing twin call girls as twin call girls in Dead Ringers. In 1990, she briefly appeared as a guest on Broadway as Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story. Her next move was to science-fiction and portrayed Dr. Marie Lazarus (RoboCop 3) in 1993. The big break for her followed later that year as she joined the ensemble of the cult NBC crime show Law & Order as assistant district attorney Claire Kincaid. As part of the show, she fascinated viewers for three years up to 1996.
